I saw some enormous vultures between Thini and Jomosom. They were devouring a dead mule. Not a pretty sight.
A question for Dano: what happened to the Indian vulture population. In the late nineties they were disappearing to the extent that ornithologists were really concerned. Some 90% were inexplicably lost and no one could say why. Has this been cleared up now?
