I am planning on completing the EBC and Goyko lake trek in October/November and had questions about what equipment to bring. What rating of sleeping bag is needed and is it easier to buy it in NA or rent in Kathmandu? I have also purchased a water filter and am bringing along chemical treatment. Is there anything else one might recommend? Do you need full leather hiking boots to complete this trip or will mid size approach shoes be ok? Finally, What size of pack would be recommended. I haev a 73 Litre pack and thought it might be too big. I will be staying in Tea houses the entire way. Thanks in advance for your answers and suggestions.
