During all the hubbub of going through "security" at the domestic airport in Kathmandu on 12/28, I somehow managed to lose all the film from my trek: 15 rolls!
Maybe it had something to do with the guy who was pushing by me to load 100 bags of grain through the xray machine?
Or perhaps it had something to do with the fact that I'd just pushed my rickshaw all the way from Thamel and I was a little lightheaded? All this because the wonderful students thought it was a good idea to shut down the city because of what some actor in another country said about Nepal. (Side note: new speed record, Thamel to Airport: 36 minutes WITH bags)
In either case it was a bonehead move by me. So, if anyone found a plastic ziploc bag with a bunch of film in it, let me know. Shipping, reward, good karma, all included. I checked with all the security guys and major airlines to no avail.
