An experienced group of 4/5 trekkers are planning on doing the Dhaulgari Circuit next october. I am looking for information from anyone who has done this circuit, particularly from those who have done it as part of an unsupported group.
Like to know the availability of food from villages for first week and what food you carried in. Did you take walking ice axes and or crampons and or rope. What weight were you carrying initially. Did you need heavy weight down bags/jackets. Would 4 season leather boots be OK. Could you manage without a guide. Anything else thought pertinent.
