Jomsom & Marpha what a great place to visit. Marphas is very lush and green and Jomsom is dry and barin.
I was there just a few years ago and then my father worked for U.S.Aid when we lived in Katmandu in the 60's. Dad flew DC-3s into Jomsom and told some good stories of the wind that whips through that place. If you ever fly into there be sure your out at the airport and on the plane by 9am or you may not get out till the next day because of the wind.
