The X5 is useless, as most BMWs, you can not fit two moutain bikes into the cargo bay. That goes for the Audis too. In fact you can get more into a V70 than into a X5.

We checked them all out, and in the end we bought us a MB S211 500. It is safe, utterly comfortable, fun to drive (especially on the Autobahn), and takes lots of load.

But if one is going to be totally obscene one might just as well get a GMC Yukon, or something simliar, i.e., the new MB GL 550 or 420CDI.
