read a couple of your postings and was as pleased as Mouse that you met Sushil. He's a stand up guy (Eng. slang: good bloke). I hope that we can keep up some impetus on that issue. I reckon October is going to see some activity in Pokhara in any case.
I remember the route you described from 1996 when I had to take the route as a 'emergency route' having got some damage. The 'other side' of the valley was having a lot of blasting done to it and I had to drag along to Baglung to find the roadhead. All I ever really worry about is the possible fate of the Kali Gandaki. I had a lot of deep discussion on this when I was in Nepal. It's a hell of a finely balanced argument and a challenging talking point.
Without showing out too much I detect that we share much the same opinion on certain things as described in your second paragraph. I have it bad and am looking for more obscure trekking destinations within Nepal as a result of experiences in the last 6 years. If you get my drift...
