If there is anything that is bound to piss trekkers off its high tech gadgets.. so take them and have fun. Look at the reaction to a little metal pole, low tech to me highly threatening to others. After Ms Pitt on Everest we are all free to look fab with our new gear. I like the idea of radio antenna so that I can pick up the BBC world service even on the pass.
After the pole controversy is there any love left on this board?
