... and then go and enjoy yourself. Nepal no more dangerous then travelling to Kings Cross, and perhaps far less so.

: I donno...I was looking forward to going around the 20 October for 4-5 weeks,but looking at the situation Im put off,which depresses me greatly.Ive not booked anything,I tend to leave things to the maybe a few weeks beforehand and then book last minute.
: The violence in Pokhara and kathmandu bothers me;it seems the conflict is about to intensify.
: My guide from last february has written twice to persuade me to get over soon,but I think I'll wait till March -April.I feel a bit guilty as I did say Id be over October-he has a young family to support and has not trekked with anyone since I departed Jiri.
: I'd like to hear from the maoists that kidnapping tourists is not on the agenda,and that tourists are welcome to visit.
: Cant really blame the maoists being twitchy about UK and US visitors-especially when the west is supplying the Royal Army with equipment.
