: I agree with much of what you say. Anyone who doesn't believe should read Palden Gyatso's firsthand account <i>The Autobiography of a Tibetan Monk,</i> to see the brutality of the Chinese system. But I am curious if you have had bad experiences with them; sounds as though you have. : TIA : Brian : : but the chinese...how to explain this to a Westerner...the chinese are brutal beyond white people's comprehension. they are brutal about life and beauty. what they understand is punishment. their culture is based on shame and punishment and control. they care nothing for the Tibetans, they barely make an effort to preserve their own culture. tibet is finished, i am sorry to say. : : Still, i will tell everyone that i know of your petition. : : : : : : A petition will do nothing to stop the chinese.
