Just this minute booked for Xmas in Pokhara in the lap of luxury. Last Xmas was Phuket [Thailand] but this will definitely be better.
: Who needs a beach when you have Pokhara.
: A peaceful lake surrounded by snow capped mountains.
: Eagles circling over the water catching their day's fish.
: Water lapping around the wooden boats in the harbour.
: Sun, relaxation, shopping....good bars, good food and tranquility at a stones throw, or a short day's trek to see the early mountain view of the sunrise.
: Pokhara is my favorite place on earth...don't rush it there :)
: My mum loves it there too, we have spent 2 weeks there doing nothing but relax!
