: I just returned and did EBC and Chitwan a few hours ago. I could not find Bug repellant with DEET. It was all natural based, I guess that was OK because the mosquitos were rare when I was in Chitwan, But I would bring this from home. I stayed at Eden Resort in Chiwan and it was quiet and close to town. I saw 5 Rhinos, crocks, and others. Great place. As for drink mixes there were many in all the KTM stores. Lime and Mango were the best. (25 to 45 rps) Have a gteat trip. I will never forget the people or places of Nepal. Like I said, I just stepped off the plane so if I can offer advice please ask : : You have no problems these thays to find everything on the list... : : Other good things you can find are books: you'll be amazed what you'll find in Thamel, stuff that is not easily found anywhere else in the world. : : Then there is tiger balm, khukri knives, and hash. Some touts in Thamel may even offer girls (only if you look like being of the male variety yourself). But only if you have just refused the hash. : : You won't find good yakshaving equipment in Kathmandu though. That is only because they are on the list of weapons of mass distruction, hence President Dubya's representatives collect them all... : : An interesting item is foot powder. I dunno... It depends what kind of foot you want, but in Nepal they'll make anything for you for a price. Even powder a few feet just for your consumption.
