I think I have read somewhere about the fact that, sometime early this year, the Nepali government has decided to do away with the liaison officer for Mustang. The registered trekking agency remains, I heard, but the liaison officer is no longer necessary.
Can someone please confirm this? Or am I hearing/seeing/reading things are outside other people's realm of consciousness...

: June can be still ok until mid of month, but certainly you should consider at least 4 days extra only for flight delay. In July you can be sure of flight delays even up to 5-7 days!

: Be aware of the restrictions which apply to upper Mustang.

: It's pretty controlled and you have to use an Agency to obtain permission to enter Mustang as well a Liasion Officer from the government will accompaign your trek....
