Do you really think this is the forum to be slandering other nationalities (however true or perceived true the allegations may be)? I'm an Aussie but cringe at some of the behaviour of my own lot whilst o/s... But when all is said and done there are good and bad apples in every basket. The final arbiters will be the Nepali people themselves - and we witnessed one trekking group being hoisted out of one lodge by porters and lodge owner alike... If one digs a ditch by bad behaviour let them lie in it, whatever the nationaility, but lets be careful not to turn this forum into a slinging match against one or another. Cheers
: The young Israelis are really making a very bad name for themselves. They try the same shit in Thailand but it doesn't work so well because, as you know, the Thais are quick to whip the knives out if there is a dispute over money. Can you imagine any one being so mean as to hard bargain the Nepalis just because business is so crappy? I know from the birding camps in Nepal that the local guides cannot bear the Israelis. If one of them falls out of the boat in Koshi and gets taken by a croc no one is going to try and save them
