: : Too bloody hot in August : Not really Dano, the hottest season is late April, May and early June before the monsoon breaks. Once it starts it cools down significantly. I may get steaming hot at times but then there is a rain it gets cool and fresh. Though of course trekking in at low altitude there are moments one feels one is either walking in torrential rain, or sweating torrents in scorching sun. However, nowadays there are so many roads that one can get up on altitude quite quick. Once there it is amazingly lush, and the best bit is one can go really high without the kind arctic gear one needs at other seasons. Even September is cooler than April and May because then everything is green and loaded up with cool moisture from the rainy season. : Per
