I enjoyed Tilicho most. In fact the whole area between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri is astonishing.

: I agree with Petrus on the Khumbu area, and exclude Langtang/helambu or Dolpo/Mustang from the running as I have not visited them. I guess, it is difficult to say this is the best trek, really. But the feeling you get once above Namche, maybe because it was my first trek ("primacy effect" in psychological/yakshaving terms) will stay with me forever, maybe a bit more than the others. I had the distinct feeling that I may well be on another planet (though that should not be taken too seriously as people tell me that all the time...). Probably the feeling I got at Machapuchare and especially ABC on the clear December days in 2000 when I was there comes pretty close.
