Kagbeni taken from the path to Muktinath. Above the village on the other side of the Kali Gandaki is a cliff in which it is just possible to see the entrances to numerous mysterious caves of which there are many in this region. The large red building in Kagbeni is the gompa. The larger earth coloured structure to the right is the old fort. The path to Mustang Lo follows the Kali Gandaki north on the right of the picture.
