Namaste, My name is Pasang Dendi Sherpa and I am a professionally qualified Mountain and trekking guide here in Nepal. I have many year of experience in guide and I only offer a top class service with my ultimate aim in providing all of the clients who I work with a safe, enjoyable memorable experience and always at a competitive price.

Whatever you're aims and aspiration I can guarantee a suitable itinerary that will meet all of your requirements taking into consideration the associated hazards with altitude to prevent any problems. Too many people every year are caught out with altitude problems due to poor planning and over ambitious trekking itineraries. My approach is to prevent this by careful planning and by using my extensive experience and knowledge of this medical issue.

I can facilitate you with all your arrangements and itinerary, and help you go around the town. I speak Nepali, Tibetan, English and Sherpa, so I can help you to talk to most of people in Nepal.

My rates you will find to be very competitive. I do not have the same costs as companies do but certainly I offer better service.

If you require any guiding services for your group regardless of the size please contact me to arrange a professional service.

I stayed in Mandap 3 times. There is the best rerstourant in KTM! Clear, warm water 24 hour and very frendly. Something about 20 USD per day.

Agree with all the above and more. Unbelievable value for what could pass as a 3-star hotel in Thamel. Right in the middle of everything.

Have always gone to the Garuda but that place is getting a little burned out. Will walk 20 more meters down the street from now on to the Mandap.

It's like the Yak and Yeti for people on a budget!

oops, this place was like small rooms at an overpriece and they weren't really nice (even after bargaining and looking through different accomodations). That's why we had chosen a different hotel.

I thought this was good value..only 350NR=$7 CDN per night. Good basic rooms..with private bath. I had 2 different rooms..one had reliable hot wather..the other was OK. Nice staff..no trouble leaving checked baggage for 5 days. I would stay here again.

I have stayed here twice, both times as part of a package. The meals and service are excellent, though expensive when compared to hotels nearby. There is a rooftop terrace with excellent views of Swayambunath Stupa and also tables and chairs if one should choose to eat breakfast there. The location is also excellent, being only a 5 minute walk from the Kathmandu Guest House.
One of the nicest things about the hotel is that it is off the streets of Thamel, making it relatively quiet. There is a bar and restaurant on the lower level, although prices are not for those on a shoestring.

I'd have to agree with Brian: I found the service particularly excellent. They were always ready to please. Again not ideal for a shoestring but good value nonetheless!

Hello, I can't share the view of the others. I stayed in the Namche Hotel two years ago. At that time I would have recommended it, but after the staff changed I was quite disappointed. I went there last september and found it in a desolate state. The rooms had changed only a little and the prices nearly doubled. As I had the good food on mind, which was served two years ago, I checked out the restaurant and felt like WHAT HAS HAPPENED here? I ordered a lassi (easy to make drink) and they used bad ingredients. The lassi had two phases. After complaining they mixed my drink and brought me the same drink. I could even see how the were wondering while preparing as they had never seen a lassi like this themselves.
I felt fooled so THIS IS A NO-NO!!!
The majonaise on my sandwich was moving on its own.

This is my 3rd time staying at pilgrims and it is still as good as the first time, very friendly people, they have everything here, and it is close to everything too, good value, massive rooms with balconies, great garden, rooftop terrace, garden restaurant, all at very good prices, what more do you want

After a long and tiring flight, the hotel was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were just fine and for $10 per night, I cannot complain. The garden restaurant was a little oasis of tranquility from bustling Thamel. The food was of a good standard and the staff very attentive. I would like to stay here again if I ever get the opportunity.

Overpriced, unfriendly staff who always bothered you taking some of their safaritours or hotelorganised coaches and taxis to some place. Okay that's business, but after few days it gets on your nerves. I hope Mr Pandey isn't working there any longer as he is Mr Rip-off in person. Same goes to the lame trekking staff working there. You can't even scare your mother. They worked together with a taxi driver, who wanted to rip us off. The problem got solved after we called the police and waited two hours. But after the inconvienence I got all my equipment and money back, although Pandey claimed I would never get it back. If they run any problems on you, get the police. Staff is scraed of them. As long as Pandey works there it is a NO-No

Large, comfortable rooms, with hot water, TV, fan and telephone, an internet/computing facility, its own car, a good reliable restaurant, and a garden, with helpful and friendly people running it, and a pleasant laid back style, for USD10-15, this is a first rate place in Thamel. (one or two rooms are a bit small but maybe cheaper then large ones)

The quietest rooms are on the 5th floor as it is in the middle of Thamel!

I have stayed here many many times.
Friendly staff. Clean, basic, cheap rooms. but bad plumbing on most floors. Not so good since the building got built opposite.
Top floor is best on street side.
