![]() Up at 8 am after a late night, I see the itchy feet crew off. Into town for more supplies, and a browse, then off to the YHA to see Hermon and Anneke. It was good timing as they were just getting ready to leave when I popped in. Anneke's hip is rather bad and a friend of theirs' from Denmark drove them to the Albany hospital. Sad to see Ma and Pa off. Did my washing, then off to do some fishing with my hand-line, After 2 and a half hours I caught some nice black bream which tasted yummy. At last I have caught some fish on this trek! {Editor's note - about bloody time!] Rang the kids then watched The Castle which was a laugh. [Editor's note - amusing Aussie comedy movie about over-development] Met some good people in this backpackers. Simon and Sandy are lovely friendly owners of the backpackers, with a gorgeous baby, Abby. ![]() |
