Just a general store for supplies, no Internet available. There are plenty of places to sleep. I chose the old primary school, which has rooms for $12 per night.

Slept in until 8:30am then said goodbye to Joe. Walked around old mill (1948 to 1978) and checked out the water hole and a shack that a local lived in until recently.

Washed clothes and cleaned red dust off the tent. A couple who have been two days behind me since Kalamunda (Hermon and Anneka) finally caught up with me today. They have been following me and my comments in the visitor's books and probably feel like they know me already. Shared a cuppa and a chat with them at their cottage between 7:30pm - 10:30om but not before watching Mr Magoo at the school. Films are shown most evenings for the local children, most of whom are on holiday from Perth.

Rang kids for only second time since I left Perth. Not easy catching them at home.
