Small town with limited food supplies. OK, if like me, you are not too fussy about what to eat. Internet at post office, and in the backpacker hostel at the rear of the post office.

Did the usual washing and food shop. Soaked in the serenity of Balingup and then threw my boomerang in the park. Had an afternoon kip and in general was just a bum for a day.

Spent one and a half hours on the Internet for $10, posting comments on WA Footy Forum. Two lively 21 year olds from Perth, Claire and Jess, blew in from the Bibbulmun Track very sore but full of laughs. Great having them here, like watching Kath and Kim (Aussie TV comedy).

Feet and body are in tip top condition, mentally fresh and raring to go again tomorrow.

Had a great time in Balingup, a delightful town. Must visit again one day.
