YetiZone.com is a guidebook about trekking in Nepal, describing over 620 kilometres of trekking. YetiZone presently covers the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Sanctuary and the Langtang and Helambu region and the Everest region including Solu, Khumbu and Gokyo. YetiZone has been established for over 5 years.

YetiZone's goals are to:

  • Provide the highest quality trekking in Nepal guidebook information at the lowest cost, through making the descriptions freely available on the web as well as in YetiZone's paper guidebook publications.
  • Give advertising sponsors opportunities to offer their services to trekkers through banner advertising within the web site.
  • Enable trekkers to meet and exchange information and views.

All the descriptions, photographs, GPS readings, drawings are copyright and have been gathered during several treks in Nepal. All the technical development of the site is also the work of the author.

As the author, my credentials for writing this guidebook are, besides actualy walking the treks, I have been mountaineering for many years, I am a member of the (UK) Alpine Club, and have ascended many European Alpine peaks and taken part in one Himalayan mountaineering expedition. I hold a UK Mountain Walking Leadership Award which is a mountain navigation qualification.
