The wait next morning at the airport for the plane can be agonising, especially if your plane is last
Once you're boarded, it's a short ride back to Kathmandu
Ask the pilot to make sure all those complicated dials are working properly |

Today's your last day. It's a long way from Namche to Lukla, but by now you should be fit enough to do it comfortably.
Never say never again Start down past the last remaining potato fields of Namche - pass through the entrance portal, and say goodbye. Walk down through the conifers. Cross the high bridge above the Dudh Kosi, (50 minutes) and then descend to the river to re-cross it by the wooden bridge. Pass the Sagarmatha National Park entrance (1 hour 25 minutes) just before Monjo. Cross the suspension bridge (1 hour 55 minutes). Reach Banksar (2 hours 10 minutes) and then Phakding (3 hours and 10 minutes). Slog up the hill to Lukla (5 hours 55 minutes).
The view from the airport of Kwangde East Pillar Go directly to your airline office to reconfirm your flight for the next day. If you are too tired, your hotel can probably arrange it for a fee.
The Yeti Airlines plane is often the first to arrive
